Air dryers remove moisture before it reaches your equipment. The two main types, refrigerated and desiccant, deliver very different dew points.
Refrigerated Dryers
These cool the air to condense water and are economical for general industrial use with a positive dew point around three degrees Celsius.
Desiccant Dryers
Desiccant dryers reach far lower dew points, often minus forty degrees Celsius or lower, and suit outdoor pipelines, pharmaceuticals, food and precision processes.
Selection Factors
Confirm maximum flow, working pressure, inlet temperature and the required pressure dew point, then compare energy use over the full year.
